Sound insulation of noisy equipment is a high priority HSE area on the part of the oil companies. 

Reanco has developed its own system focusing on Customers requirements for substantial sound reduction, their requirements for inspection of equipment involved, flexible construction of framework, panels hatches, doors windows etc.

Operators' requirements for access to and periodic maintenance of the equipment are the key parameters for the projecting of sound insulation modules. Doors are used in places where daily inspections are necessary, whereas hatches are often used in places where equipment supervision is of lesser frequency. For equipment that require visual supervision from the outside only, glass windows are used to a great extent.

We refer to very good results achieved among others, with sound insulation of water injection pumps on the GULLFAKS A, B and C platforms.
